Epicenter: the point on the earth's surface vertically above the focus of an earthquake. From the Greek word epikentros meaning ‘situated on a center’, from epi ‘upon’ + kentron ‘center’.
Forces of Nature is a series of works begun in 2014. The works in the series reference storms (Pertinax), earthquakes (Epicenter) and tsunamis (Tidal). The question which prompted these works is to what extent are such events caused by man and as a result are a manifestation of nature in revolt?
